Last weekend, I saw a piece of artwork made by Oliver Jeffers on the High Line in Manhattan. It was a giant globe, but where countries names would be, each one said “People Live Here”. When an astronaut goes into outer space, they don’t see the world with borders and countries. They see it as one big planet that we all share. The name of my mix, Stratosphere, was inspired by this experience.
